Color Me Debt Free ("Debt Free") is built and operated by Galapptic LLC. Your finances are private, so the app was designed to keep them that way. This policy explains what the app handles, where it is kept, and your rights.
Color Me Debt Free does not collect any personal data. There is no account or sign-in, no bank connection, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any identifier for you or your device.
The information you type in (your debts, balances, interest rates, minimum payments, due dates, pay-later plans, the payments you log, your monthly budget, your payday, what you are paying it off for, and your settings) is saved on your device. If iCloud is turned on for your Apple Account, a private copy is also kept in your own iCloud (Apple's iCloud key-value storage for this app) so it comes back if you reinstall the app or get a new iPhone. That copy belongs to your Apple Account; we cannot see it. Nothing is ever sent to us or anyone else.
Payment reminders are scheduled on your iPhone by iOS itself; nothing is sent from a server. If you turn on the app lock, Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode is checked by iOS. The app only learns whether unlocking succeeded and never has access to your face or fingerprint data.
Color Me Debt Free contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking code, and does not track you across other apps or websites. The app works without an internet connection.
Color Me Debt Free offers an optional one-time Pro purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account under Apple's own privacy policy; we never receive your name, payment details, or any other personal information from a purchase.
If you use Share on a paid-off picture, the app creates an image on your device and opens the iOS share sheet; you choose where it goes. Amounts are left off the image unless you turn them on.
If you have chosen to share crash reports or analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports under Apple's privacy policy. Links in Settings open in your web browser and are covered by those websites' own policies.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
We never receive a copy of your data. Settings → Erase everything deletes it from the app and replaces the iCloud copy with an empty one. Deleting the app removes it from your iPhone; the iCloud copy stays in your iCloud so it can be restored if you install the app again, and you can remove it by using Erase everything before deleting the app. Your iPhone's own backups may also include the app's data like any other app's. If you email us, your message is kept only as long as needed to respond.
