Potty Pop Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Overview

Potty Pop (“Potty Pop: Potty Training App”) is built and operated by Galapptic LLC. It’s an app for parents and caregivers who are potty training a child. We designed it so that nothing about your family ever leaves your control. This policy explains what the app handles, where it is kept, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Potty Pop does not collect any personal data. There is no account or sign-in, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any identifier for you, your child or your device.

Everything you enter (your child’s first name or nickname and approximate age, the potty trips, accidents and nights you log, notes, the sticker chart, prizes, timer settings and app settings) is saved on your device. If iCloud is turned on for your Apple Account, a private copy is also kept in your own iCloud (Apple’s iCloud key-value storage for this app) so your progress comes back if you reinstall the app or get a new iPhone. That copy belongs to your Apple Account; we cannot see it. Nothing is ever sent to us or anyone else.

Notifications, Sounds and the Voice

Potty-timer reminders are scheduled on your iPhone by iOS itself; nothing is sent from a server. When the party cheers your child’s name out loud, the words are spoken by your iPhone’s built-in text-to-speech, on the device. The app does not use the microphone or the camera.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Potty Pop contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking code, and does not track you across other apps or websites. The app works without an internet connection.

Purchases

Potty Pop offers an optional one-time Pro purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account under Apple’s privacy policy; we never receive your name, payment details, or any other personal information from a purchase.

Sharing

If you share a milestone card, send an update, or make a certificate or daycare sheet, the image, text or PDF is created on your device and the iOS share sheet opens; you choose where it goes. You can hide your child’s name on milestone cards.

Third-Party Services

If you have chosen to share crash reports or analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports under Apple’s privacy policy. Links open in your web browser and are covered by those websites’ own policies.

We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Children’s Privacy

Potty Pop is meant to be used by parents and caregivers. Young children may look at the screen and tap a sticker during a celebration, but the app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, and has no ads, chat, or links that children can follow without a parent.

Data Retention and Deletion

We never receive a copy of your data. Settings → Erase everything deletes it from the app and replaces the iCloud copy with an empty one. Deleting the app removes it from your iPhone; the iCloud copy stays in your iCloud so it can be restored if you install the app again, and you can remove it by using Erase everything before deleting the app. Your iPhone’s own backups may include the app’s data like any other app’s. If you email us, your message is kept only as long as needed to respond.

Your Rights

We do not hold personal data about Potty Pop users. Questions or requests? Contact us at hello@galapptic.com.

Changes

If the app ever begins to collect data, we will update this policy before that change is released.
