How does the taper plan work? You start from your usual daily amount. Every few days (5 by default) your daily limit steps down by about 10% of where you started. Below 30% of your starting amount the steps get smaller, because the end is the hardest part. When the limit reaches your jump-off amount (about 10% of the start by default), the next day is your jump day: the day you stop. Every limit is rounded to something you can measure: a quarter gram, a quarter tablet, a whole capsule.
A step feels too hard. What should I do?Hold it. On the Plan tab, tap “Hold this step 3 more days” as many times as you need. Everything after it moves back. You can also change your pace or raise today’s amount under “Change pace or amounts.” The days you’ve already done stay as they were.
What counts as a day?A day runs from 4am to 4am by default, so a late-night dose counts toward the evening before. You can change this in Settings → My day starts at.
Is Unleaf safe to use for 7-OH?Unleaf is a tracker and planner, not medical care. 7-OH acts like an opioid, and stopping it can cause opioid-like withdrawal. Please talk to a doctor: medicine like buprenorphine can make quitting much easier, and Unleaf works alongside treatment. The Help tab has guides and help lines.
How do I use SOS?Tap SOS on the Today screen when a craving hits. Breathe with the circle, watch the timer (most cravings fade within 20 minutes), read your own reasons, and text or call your support person (add them in Settings). Tap “It passed” to count it.
What happens after my jump day?Today switches to a time-free counter and shows what withdrawal usually looks like at that point, hour by hour and day by day. Milestones (24 hours, 3 days, a week, 30 days and beyond) are celebrated as you reach them.
I slipped. Did I lose my progress? No. Log it honestly. Your clock restarts, but your good days stay and your plant never shrinks. You can carry on, or go back to a slower taper from a lower amount. After a break your tolerance is lower, so taking your old amount can be dangerous.
What does Pro include, and what does it cost?Pro unlocks your personal taper plan (daily limits, holds, pace changes, step and jump-day reminders), insights over time, a PDF report for your doctor, and tracking more than one product. It’s available yearly (with a free trial for new subscribers), monthly, or as a one-time lifetime unlock; prices are shown in the app. Logging, the time-free counter, the withdrawal guide, check-ins, your plant, SOS and every help line are always free.
How do I cancel my subscription? On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Unleaf, or tap Manage subscription in Unleaf’s Settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
I already bought Pro.Open Unleaf → Settings → Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account.
Who can see my data?Only you. There’s no account, no ads and no tracking, and the app sends nothing to us. Your data stays on your iPhone, with a private copy in your own iCloud so it survives a reinstall. Notifications never mention kratom, 7-OH or amounts, and you can lock the app with Face ID.
How do I start over?Settings → Erase everything deletes everything from your iPhone and your iCloud copy. Pro stays with your Apple Account.
